Rules of the PCSG.   (The rules of the PCSG are not to be altered)

1. Membership of the PCSG is granted to individual pastors by the group founder (see also, point 12). Membership may be revoked by the founder if an individual member acts in such a way as to bring the PCSG into disrepute, or foolishly and vainly repudiates the Protestant Christian faith.

2. Pastor-members are obliged to hold group meetings for local Protestant Christians.

3. Meetings may be held on any day of the week – however, it is advised that there is more Biblical support for meeting on the Lord's Day.

4. Meetings will consist of joining together in prayer, worship, and exposition the of the Scriptures in a manner commensurate with the building up of the individuals taking part. They should therefore have a structure which is familiar to those who are taking part.

5. The meeting will always be led by the Pastor-member, who shall be male – in line with Protestant and Biblical teaching. If the pastor is unavailable he may appoint another mature Christian man to lead the meeting.

6. Meetings will normally be between one hour and one and a half hours in length, and following the formal part of the meeting they will then conclude with a time of fellowship and general discussion.

7. The significance and importance of the ordinance of the Lord's Supper, its remembrance having been presented as a command by Jesus Christ, means that meetings of the PCSG should seriously consider regularly holding times of remembrance of this meal. Such will be led by the pastor-member or his appointee.

8. Protestant Christians adhere to the teaching of the Bible. The Bible frequently advocates the use of song within worship – the Book of Psalms being a complete collection of such songs. Meetings of the PCSG should therefore include, on every possible occasion, times of singing.

9. PCSGs may be set up anywhere within the United Kingdom, after pastor-members move from one location to another, or following the appointment of a new pastor-member.

10. PCSGs will in normal circumstances restrict their activities to church buildings, and will normally meet within the area most comfortable for the purposes of offering this support – namely, the areas of the building used for public worship. Variations to this rule require the specific permission of the founder.

11. The Logo for the PCSG will be simply:

                              PCSG

The presence of a meeting will be advertised using the logo. The taking place of a meeting will be advertised by the pastor-members in such a way as to avoid the risk of attendance by those who do not share the Protestant Christian faith as once given by the saints.

12. Membership of the committee of the PCSG is to be decided, in the first place, by the founder. The founder will remain the chairman until such time as he chooses to step down, or should he foolishly and vainly repudiate the Protestant Christian faith. Following its initial composition it may then decide on its future format. The committee of the PCSG may take over the granting of membership to pastors if they so decide.
