The Protestant Christian Support Group  General Information

A Distinct Identity and a Clear Purpose

This support group, the PCSG, has been founded with the intention of offering significant and important support to the minority group in the UK known as Protestant Christians. Sincere Christians, who believe that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God, and is the sole source for their faith and practice, are coming under increasing pressure and criticism over the past few years.

The personal verbal attacks, the undermining of the Biblical perspective which underpins laws, and the efforts to prevent their meeting, have increased to a point where it is no longer acceptable to sit back and accept the way in which Protestant Christians are being treated. Many find their lives to be under constant strain – they do not dare mention their beliefs at work or on social media because of the fear of attacks, sacking, and even legal actions being taken against them.

It is therefore imperative that the Protestant community in the UK provides support for those who uphold the inerrancy of Scripture, the unique nature of the saving act of Jesus Christ, and life after death with God only for those who place their trust in that once-for-all saving act. The opportunity for such support is only genuinely possible within a group setting – enabling the sharing of faith issues to take place.
